Call of Duty 2 for pocket PCs and handheld devices is optimized
for Intel Corporation’s newest processor family for portable devices
(codenamed Monahans) based on third-generation Intel XScale®
architecture. Activision’s Call of Duty 2 is an award-winning, intense
and cinematic first-person action game that transports gamers to the
front lines of World War II.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

On your desktop PC, take the downloaded COD2PPC_mp_Setup.exe
(or Smartphone version, which is COD2PPC_mp_SP_Setup.exe) file
and double-click it. This will initiate the installation procedure. Your
device must be connected to your desktop PC via ActiveSync (latest
version is 4.5) to install. You will be greeted with on-screen prompts
that will take you through the setup. You have 3

choices on installation
– (1) Install the Client on Your Mobile Device (this includes a server
on your handheld as well),
-(2) Install the Dedicated Server on Your Desktop PC, or
(3) Install Both the Client on Your Handheld as well as the
Dedicated Server on Your Desktop PC.

If you are installing the Multiplayer Client on your handheld, please
be aware of the space requirements. Few devices have enough internal storage to accommodate the game’s data (around 36mb), so the better choice would be installing directly to a SD Card. If you are using Windows Mobile 2003, the choice for SD Card will be given to you at the beginning of the procedure. If you are using Windows Mobile 5, you’ll see this prompt on your device in the middle of the procedure. Once installed on either OS, the game can be launched by going to the Start Menu >> Programs >> Games >> COD2mp. Alternatively, the executable to launch the game will be stored on the device’s SD Card; by default this would reside in Start >> Programs >> File Explorer >> SD Card (storage card) >> Program Files >> COD2 Multiplayer.

REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

To remove the program from your Pocket PC, go to Start >> Settings >> System (tab on the bottom)>> Remove Programs, and select Aspyr Media COD2 Multiplayer from the list. Once selected, hit Remove and the game will be uninstalled from the device. You will have to manually delete files off of your SD Card if you had installed the game to that location.

LAUNCHING AND PLAYING CALL OF DUTY 2 POCKET PC MULTIPLAYER ADD-ON

To play Call of Duty 2 once installation is completed, tap the Start Menu >>Programs >> Games>> COD2mp. You may also launch the game from Start Menu >> Programs >> File Explorer >> my Device >> SD Card >> Program Files >> COD2 Multiplayer. Please refer to the game manual that installs with the application for information on playing the game.
