INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

On your desktop PC, take the downloaded COD2PPC_mp_Setup.exe
(or Smartphone version, which is COD2PPC_mp_SP_Setup.exe) file
and double-click it. This will initiate the installation procedure. Your
device must be connected to your desktop PC via ActiveSync (latest
version is 4.5) to install. You will be greeted with on-screen prompts
that will take you through the setup. You have 3

choices on installation
– (1) Install the Client on Your Mobile Device (this includes a server
on your handheld as well),
-(2) Install the Dedicated Server on Your Desktop PC, or
(3) Install Both the Client on Your Handheld as well as the
Dedicated Server on Your Desktop PC.

If you are installing the Multiplayer Client on your handheld, please
be aware of the space requirements. Few devices have enough internal storage to accommodate the game’s data (around 36mb), so the better choice would be installing directly to a SD Card. If you are using Windows Mobile 2003, the choice for SD Card will be given to you at the beginning of the procedure. If you are using Windows Mobile 5, you’ll see this prompt on your device in the middle of the procedure. Once installed on either OS, the game can be launched by going to the Start Menu >> Programs >> Games >> COD2mp. REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Once selected, hit Remove and the game will be uninstalled from the device. You will have to manually delete files off of your SD Card if you had installed the game to that location.

Tienes el emulador, pero te faltan los juegos. Hay multitud de webs
donde bajarlos. Esos juegos se llaman ROMS, así que si quieres buscar
juegos de Megadrive, por ejemplo, busca "roms de megadrive".

de hecho ya consegui un monton de roms snes, nes neogeo y capcom son
los mismos que se usan para los emuladores de la pc?... no los puede
correr el ljp que instale... me manda un error y ya verifique que los
roms esten en la sd, que puedo hacer gracias por su ayuda...

Si son los mismos que se ocupan en el PC.
Es extraño que no te aparezcan las ROMS porque el programa te las
reconoce, sino verifica que los ROMS estan en sus respectivas carpetas
(las de snes en SNES, de nes en NES, etc.)

2.-¿Leiste los tutoriales de este foro respecto a instalación del emulador?

Si la respuesta es si, entonces

¿Copiaste los archivos ZEM en la carpeta que corresponde?
(Por ejemplo el ljp-nes.Zem en "/PALM/Programs/LJP" y no en
"/PALM/Programs/LJP/nes"

¿Tienes habilitado el UDMH y el UnCache?

Para examinar tus carpetas tal vez necesites esto:

QUE NECESITAS PARA INSTALACION:

1. Tener una sd card (muy recomendable).

2. Necesitas un programa que te ayude a incrementar la memoria dinamica de tu palm cuando necesitas ejecutar aplicaciones grandes.

Estas son las palm que necesitan de esta aplicacion para correr JLP

Las que no necesitan:

2. El emulador
3. Como instalar:

3.1 Descomprimir, poner el archivo ljp.prc por hotsync o mediante el card export ponerlo en /Palm/Launcher dentro de la tarjeta SD.

3.2 Ejecuta el archivo ljp desde la palm, y se crearan automáticamente los directorios necesarios (son de extensión .zem)

Te serán creados en la SD card los siguinetes directorios:
* NES : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/NES"
* SNES : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/SNES"
* GB/GBC : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/GB"
* GENESIS : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/GENZ"
* NGP : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/NGP"
* WS : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/WS"
* SMS/GG : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/SMSGG"
* Atari 2600 : "/PALM/Programs/LJP/VCS"
Dentro de cada directorio existen dos carpetas:
* Roms : Aca debes de poner los rooms comprimidos o descomprimidos
* Saves : para guardas tus partidas.

EJ: si tienes rooms de SNES, deberas colocarlas en /PALM/Programs/LJP/SNES/Roms.

4. Ahora instalamos UDMH , vamos a configuracion, Add y elegimos LJP. en la siguiente pantalla dejamos las tres primeras casillas sin marcar. en Show colocamos 15000 k y damos OK.



La primera vez que ejecuten JLP se les reseteara la palm y despues ...a jugar!!!!!

excelente emulador de multiplataformas llamado Little John PalmOS (LJP) fue actualizado a la version 1.2, aunque esta aun no esta disponible en el sitio oficial, sino solo en el sitio de MetaViewSoft.
Esta version corrige tan solo algunos bugs pequeños, como la adicion de graficos de alta definicion, un modo opcional de deteccion de llamadas para los smartphones y otras adiciones pequeñas no mencionadas.

LJP running smoothely on Tungsten E2, T5, TX, Lifedrive, Treo 650, Treo 680 and other NVFS devices
If you're on a LD (Life Drive), update to ROM version 2.0 (it claims to be for English versions only, but it really works on all LDs. This will allow LJP to notice multiple button presses at once.
Install LJP and ROMS, details at Installation Instructions
Delete background apps that eat Dynamic RAM, like ZLauncher or PicselViewer. Alternatively, move them to card with PowerRun or a similar tool, or use CleanStart to prevent them from loading at reset.
Install UDMH (it's shareware, so'll have to pay 10 bucks or so if you want to use it forever) you usually don't need it on a Treo 680, 755p or Centro. Check the memory info in the upper line of the LJP ROM selector.
Install MemUnfragment (Runs hidden in background after installation) or CleanStart.
Install Imazeki's DBCacheTool. Don't use autoclear. Instead use the DA to clear the RAM right before you launch LJP.
Install DALauncher to access the DA from the command bar.
Do the following: Clear the DBCache. Reset your Palm. Clear the DBCache again. Make sure UDMH is enabled. Run LJP and load a small SNES ROM (such as Super Mario World) to test your setup. SNES needs at least 8 mb of "Max alloc" (as seen by DBCacheTool).

NES savestate are standard snss files

Los 8 tipos de Reset para Palm OS

Traducción de un completo mensaje en el Foro publicado por Orion, sobre los distintos tipos de Resets que podemos realizar al PDA.

1.- Soft Reset (reset blando)

Descripción:
Un soft reset le dice a nuestro PDA que deje de hacer lo que estaba haciendo y comience de nuevo. Toda la información que en ella tengamos se conserva. Cuando hacemos un soft reset la pantalla de bienvenida aparece y posteriormente nos lleva a Preferencias. En ese momento también nos pregunta si deseamos activar los hacks (si tenemos un programa que los gestione) por si fueron los hacks los culpables del reset.

Procedimiento:
Para hacer el soft reset necesitas introducir por el agujerito del reset (parte posterior del PDA) la punta de un clip o la punta de la tapa del stylus, aprietas, sueltas y ya está.

2.- Doble Soft Reset (dobre reset blando)

Descripción:
Si después de hacer un soft reset el PDA no se enciende y has comprobado que todo lo demás está bien (tiene carga en las baterías, el contraste está bien, etc) puedes probar el doble soft reset.

Procedimiento:
Para hacer el doble soft reset haz lo mismo que para el soft reset pero dos veces seguidas (apretar 2 veces el botón de reset en menos de 1 segundo)

3.- Warm Reset (reset medio)

Descripción:
Cuando hacemos un warm reset a nuestro PDA, se reinicia pero al arrancar no carga las extensiones (los hacks, los programas gestores de hacks, los parches del SO, las preferencias de alarmas, etc) por si ésta es la fuente del problema. Si estás en este caso, el PDA te dará error cada vez que la arranques, deteniendo el proceso de arranque al intentar cargar la aplicación dañada. Como con el warm reset estas aplicaciones no se cargan, te dará la oportunidad de arreglar aquello que esté mal (normalmente borrando la fuente del problema) y reiniciar normalmente.

Procedimiento:
Para hacer el warm reset aprieta el botón de subida del scroll y simultáneamente pulsa el botón de reset, suelta el botón de reset y cuando te aparezca la pantalla de bienvenida puedes soltar el de scroll. Con este método no pierdes la información de tu PDA.

Si no estás seguro de que programa está causando el error, puedes usar un programa con ResetEmu después del warm reset para detectarlo.

4.- Hard Reset (reset duro)

Descripción:
Con un hard reset borrarás todo lo almacenado en la memoria de tu PDA excepto las aplicaciones y preferencias de fábrica (mira extended hard reset). Una vez reseteado el PDA necesitarás restaurar todo lo que tenías con un Hotsync (Si usas Palm OS 3.1 o anterior y no habías usado ninguna aplicación de backup como BackupBuddy es muy posible que tengas que reinstalar otra vez los programas que tenías)

Por supuesto, sólo deberías hacer un hard reset si los métodos anteriores no funcionan o bien si quieres eliminar toda la información de tu PDA (si eres detectado por una unidad de contraespionaje y quieres eliminar la información rápidamente, por ejemplo :-)

Procedimiento:
Para hacer un hard reset sigue los pasos siguientes:

1. Mantén apretado el botón de encendido del PDA.
2. Mientras lo mantienes apretado, dale al reset por detrás.
3. Suelta el botón de reset.
4. Cuando el logo de Palm aparezca en la pantalla, puedes soltar el botón de encendido.
5. Si lo has hecho bién, aparecerá en la pantalla un mensaje anunciando que vas a borrar toda la información, permitiéndote confirmar la acción al presionar el botón de scroll hacia arriba. Si no confirmas la acción (pulsando cualquier otro botón), te hará un soft reset.

5.- Extended Hard Reset (reset duro extendido)

Descripción:
El extended hard reset hará exactamente lo mismo que el hard reset impidiendo además la creación de algunas bases de datos que el fabricante puso ahí (números de teléfono de soporte en los contactos, alguna nota de texto en el Notepad, las conexiones por defecto en Preferencias, sonidos de alarma MIDI, el mensaje de bienvenida en Correo, etc). Recuerda que borrarás toda la información del PDA.

Si haces el extended hard reset y luego instalas alguna aplicación que esperaba tener ahí esa información, te dará un error; por eso es recomendable que después de un extended hard reset, entres en todas y cada una de las aplicaciones por defecto (Agenda, contactos, notas, Correo, Tareas, etc) para asegurar que han creado las base de datos. Después de un extended hard reset tampoco tendrás sonidos de alarma adicionales.

Procedimiento:
Para hacer un extended hard reset:

1. Aprieta y mantén apretado el botón de encendido de tu PDA.
2. Mientras lo mantienes apretado, dale al reset por detrás.
3. Suelta el botón de reset.
4. Cuando el logo de Palm aparezca en la pantalla, puedes soltar el botón de encendido.
5. Cuando te pregunte si realmente deseas hacerlo, aprieta Y MANTÉN APRETADO el botón de subida de scroll.
6. Mientras lo mantienes apretado pulsa, en cualquier orden, el botón de Agenda, Contactos, Tareas y Notas.
7. Suelta el botón de scroll hacia arriba y el proceso de extended hard reset terminará.

Ten en cuenta que si no llegas a apretar los cuatro botones mientras mantienes el scroll pulsado, hará un soft reset.

6.- FlashPro Reset

Descripción:
En los PDA que usan FlashPro (aplicación que permite acceder al usuario a la memoria Flash sobrante) es posible que una aplicación que estuviera dañada en la memoria Flash impida que el PDA responda a los resets.

Sólo deberías hacer un FlashPro reset si tu PDA no reacciona ante un hard reset!

Procedimiento:
Para hacerlo:

1. Aprieta y mantén apretado el botón de Notas en tu PDA.
2. Mientras lo mantienes apretado, dale al reset por detrás.
3. Suelta el botón de reset.
4. Cuando el logo de Palm aparezca en la pantalla, suelta el botón de Notas.
5. Cuando el mensaje "hit the ToDo button to reformat flash" aparezca en la pantalla, aprita el botón de Tareas para completar el reset.

Las aplicaciones o datos que tuvieras almacenadas en la flash se borrarán y necesitarás reinstalarlas.

7.- JackFlash Reset

Descripción:
En los PDA que usan JackFlash (aplicación que permite acceder al usuario a la memoria Flash sobrante) es posible haber movido una aplicación que estuviera dañada a la memoria Flash, impidiendo que el PDA responda a los resets.

Los creadores de JackFlash han dispuesto un método que ocultará temporalmente las aplicaciones que has movido a la memoria Flash.

Procedimiento:
Para hacer un JackFlash reset:

1. Dale al botón de reset en la parte posterior de tu PDA.
2. Suelta el botón de reset.
3. Inmediatamente después del paso anterior aprieta y mantén apretado el botón de Notas. Si lo has hecho bién, sonará el pitido de la alarma.
4. Una vez que ha sonado el pitido, suelta el botón de Notas..
5. Una vez completado, usa JackFlash para mover las aplicaciones dañadas desde la Flash a la RAM.

El contenido de la Flash no será visible hasta que ejecutes JackFlash o bien hagas un hard reset. Este sistema no borra nada de la memoria Flash, con lo cual podrás iniciar bien tu PDA y usar JackFlash para acceder a la información allí guardada.

8.- Debug Reset

Descripción:
Algunas veces, cuando se intenta actualizar el Palm OS puede haber una interrupción en el proceso que ocasioará que tu PDA no se pueda usar en abosulto debido a que no tiene sistema operativo.

Este reset abrirá el puesto SERIE del PDA para permitir grabar directamente en la memoria Flash el sistema operativo.

Este reset sólo debería hacerse cuando la utilidad de actualización nos lo dice.

Procedimiento:
Para hacerlo:

1. Aprieta y mantén apretado el botón de scroll de bajar.
2. Aprieta el botón de reset posterior.
3. Cuando el logo de Palm aparezca en la pantalla, suelta el botón de bajar.

El algunos modelos de PDA aparecerá un pequeño cuadro parpadeante en una esquina de la pantalla.
